Is it really unlimited software development?

Yes. You can submit as many requests as you like. The caveat comes in at how many you can have worked on at a time. The development team handles requests chronologically as they came in from all clients (hence we're limiting the number of clients to provide a good throughput).

Higher plans aside from other perks will allow more simultaneous development requests.

Do I need a strong technical understanding?

Not at all! We are with you every step of the way and extremely happy to talk to you in non-tech people's language!

Do I own the code?

Yes, everything we write is yours and will be hosted on your accounts.No hard lock-ins.

When can you start?

We're aiming to launch in early 2021. To get our feet wet with this service model, we will accept only a limited amount of new clients every few months. The first batch of customers will be capped at about five.

How much does it cost?

The service will be based on a flat monthly fee. We haven't settled on a exact prices yet, but plans will likely start at > $2k/month.

Are there any additional costs?

None that you need to pay to us, but there will occur additional expenses for third party services utilized in the development process (e.g. hosting costs being rather inevitable).

I have a POS system and don't want to switch. Can we work together?

It depends. The software stack we're using is a significant reason for our high-performance storefronts and software development process.

Because of that, and because we are no experts on every existing software, we will have to build your shop from the ground with our tools. However, there is a good chance that we can integrate your current software as a backend. That way, you won't have to change your workflow or instruct your employees on any custom frameworks to benefit from our service.

From the beginning we will be supporting Shopify, WooCommerce, and (naturally) custom checkout solutions via Stripe.

Is there anything you can't do?

Probably. Software development is hard, and we may have to turn down exotic requests. What these could be may only become apparent after some communication and research.

What does this service not include?

Legal advice or liability: You tell us what you want, we write the code. It is up to you to ensure the features and contents you put on your site comply with all relevant laws.
Design work: We're no designers (yet). If you want an exotic design, please let a professional take care of it or let us otherwise know what you want your project to look like. Other than that, once a project has a set design, most adjustments and extended work can usually be derived from the existing design system and do not require dedicated designers.
